Remote Tournament Rules

We will use our text messaging app to post anything about the tournament. Please post there when you are at your bar and have checked the machine for the appropriate leagues.

We use Compusport Scorekeeper for our remote tournaments.  If you are not familiar with Scorekeeper please see the instructions here:
https://compusport.us/CS/Guides/How%20to%20Scorekeepers.pdf

It is required that at least one person on each team have the ability to score the match.  Of course, the NADO Tournament Director will be available to assist you should you have any problems.

"Rules & Instructions Good" - which means you have read and agree to abide by the rules and these instructions.

"Boards Good" - which means boards have been updated and you have verified leagues you are playing in.

"Ready" - which means your team is ready to play.

How to cork: The cork is a one round game of Count Up with a double bull as found in the league selection menu. Each team elects a player to cork. The selected player will throw all three darts. The highest score after three darts for each team wins the cork. If there is a tie, then the other two players on the teams will start a second game of Count Up making the opposite team home. If, in extraordinary circumstances, there is still a tie after both people on each team have thrown three darts, then repeat the process until the tie is broken

Shot clock is used in all matches. Round limits should be set at 25 rounds for 01 games and 35 rounds for cricket games.

All matches are set with the video being recorded so that we can review any issues or complaints.

All matches should begin within 10 minutes of post time. If not, then players are directed to contact the tournament director at that time to try to resolve the problem. Each game should start immediately after the previous one ends unless you are taking the break, breaks will be pre-scheduled for your event.

IF YOU FEEL THERE IS A PROBLEM, PAUSE THE GAME, CONTACT TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR AND OPPOSING TEAM VIA TEXT MESSAGE OR PHONE CALL, TAKE A SCREENSOT OF BOARD IF POSSIBLE.

If someone accidentally scores a dart immediately pause the game by pressing the up button.  Then establish communication with opposing team to resolve the issue.  If you are the one that notices the miss score then pause the game after your opponent shoots.  If your opponent shoots and takes out the game then the miscounted dart would be taken into consideration.  It is encouraged to take a screen shot to help explain the situation.  If the miscounted dart would not change the game then the game will stand.  If it does change the game contact the tournament director for assistance.

Shooters Advantage: A dart thrown that sticks but does not score or appear on the darts thrown count on the monitor due to a game malfunction may be scored manually by agreement of both teams… only after the action is agreed upon. A dart that “flights” another dart as it goes in is left scored as the board decides. If the dart is counted on the monitor, then it is not to be manually scored. Only darts that were not registered by the machine due to a machine malfunction or thrown too soon can be dealt with by backing up the game and manually scoring - and then, only with both teams in agreement. Stop the match by pressing the back-up button, call the other team and explain what you need to do... this will stop the shot clock, if necessary, you may continue to push the back-up button until the situation can be discussed in detail with opposing team.

UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT RULE: Any team that is deemed to violate this rule will be forfeited from the tournament and possibly other NADO events and/or leagues. Unsportsmanlike conduct includes name calling, disrespectful behavior, slow play, deliberately slowing down the tournament, and anything else that disrespects the tournament or players or may slow the tournament down as deemed by the NADO staff.

Winners from NADO events release consent for NADO to use photo’s or names for posting of NADO promotional materials.

Winners are required to send photo after your tournament is complete.

Please call in your boards to update the leagues at the end of the tournament.

NDA RULES WILL BE USED FOR ALL OTHER RULES NOT LISTED.
